Senior Accountant - PUBLIC ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Direct hire Senior Accountant for a full service accounting firm providing comprehensive accounting, tax, and consulting services to individual and business clients throughout Northwest Washington and British Columbia. Provide the highest level of professional assistance including specialized expertise in the areas of U.S./Canada cross border services, estate planning, and business succession as well as industry specific services for agriculture, construction, and manufacturing clients.
Responsibilities:
• Complete complex tax returns, compilations, reviews, audits and research
• Direct, train, review, and supervise staff on routine accounting, tax, and audit engagements.
• Plan, schedule, and interview clients/develop client relationships
• Prepare engagement budgets
Preferred Qualifications: :
• 3+ years experience in public accounting, demonstrating a progression of complexity of auditing and accounting tasks and tax knowledge
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting
